ABOUT CRTSY

CRTSY was created from a real place—seeing how little kindness is shown, especially toward people who don’t fit society’s “normal.” My name is Ashante, and as an LGBTQ activist who supports women with PCOS, I’ve experienced and witnessed the kind of judgment that comes from simply existing differently—especially being bearded. That reality shaped the foundation of CRTSY. Instead of responding with negativity, I chose to build something that stands for the opposite. This brand is my way of pushing respect back into spaces where it’s often missing, using clothing as a voice when words aren’t always heard.

Through CRTSY, I express that message as art—something people can wear, feel, and represent without having to explain themselves. Every design carries intention, not just to look good, but to stand for something deeper. It’s about shifting energy, challenging perspectives, and reminding people that kindness and respect should never be conditional. For those who’ve ever felt judged, overlooked, or misunderstood, CRTSY is a reflection of resilience—and proof that you can turn your experience into something powerful.
